(Another) WombleWorld Statement
WombleWorld vs WUP
We recently applied for a WUP account. We got no reply. Which for all practical purposes, is the same as being blocked under Rule 10 only with fewer ballots and more pixelated tags.
WUP moderators obviously don’t like what we have to say, so decided the safest option is to ghost us and keep us off the (message) board and keep the echo chamber in full operation.
After all, why let new voices in when you can just let the same eight six posters argue about word counts of a DTB statement and debate whether they should go on hunger strike every other Saturday due to the state of the food park.
We therefore remain in the strange position of being able to stand for election to run oversee the club, but not to post alongside “SanMiguelSam” and “GuestbookGary” about JJ’s substitutions on match days.
Our sources indicate that at least two moderators are considering resigning over this debacle. We await a WUP statement clarifying this bold stance on the suppression of free speech.
We at WombleWorld encourage free speech at all times and for that reason have removed the ability to comment below this article.
WombleWorld
P.S WUP - seriously give us a tag!
